Chingchi rickshaws, also known as auto-rickshaws or tuk-tuks, are popular modes of transportation and income generation in many parts of Pakistan, where livelihood projects provide these rickshaws to beneficiaries to help start or expand their transportation businesses, enhancing economic opportunities; through such initiatives in rural areas, Chingchi Rickshaw SDO aims to empower people by implementing programs that offer income-generating activities, entrepreneurial assistance, and vocational training to improve economic resilience and reduce poverty.
